I’m a huge fan of tamales and while I was on my foodie adventure in California I was determined to find some darn good tamales. I stumbled upon Tamara’s Tamales while searching for tamale places on the net. I got a few people together and we headed out on our hunt for Tamara’s Tamales.
Tamara’s is a hidden gem just minutes away from Venice Beach. The vast amount of Tamale options had me drooling over the menu. Tamara’s menu includes tamales such as: Vegan Wild Mushroom, Lika’s Greek, Potato Mole, Vegetarian Green Corn, King Crab, Cilantro Pesto Chicken and many more! The vegetarian, vegan and fat-free options are great for those who are on a special diet.
The fresh, homemade tomatillo salsa will have you licking your plate clean! Tamara also makes dessert tamales that include flavors like Cinnamon Sugar, Pumpkin and Chocolate.
