“Granola Shmanola” Chocolate Toffee Granola Bark
This little recipe has taken three of my favorite things and combined them into one sinful treat.
What You Need:
2 Cups Granola
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts
1/2 Cup Melted Chocolate
1/2-3/4 Stick Butter
1. Line a tray with wax paper and spray with PAM. Pour the granola onto the sheet and spread the granola out flat but close together.
2. In a pot combine the butter, sugars and vanilla. Bring the sugars to a boil until it becomes a golden brown. Toss in the chopped nuts. To test if the toffee is ready, drizzle a small amount into cold water. If the sugar mixture hardens, then it is ready. Pour the toffee on top of the granola, it should be a thick mixture. Spread the mixture evenly across the granola.
3. Place tray in fridge to cool. Once cooled, spread the melted chocolate on top and top with more chopped walnuts. Place back in fridge to cool. Then serve.
