Delish Detector!- Republic of Tea
After a long day at work and cooking an original Delish Your Dish dinner for my family, I like to cuddle up on the couch and treat myself to some dessert (normally some mint chocolate chip ice cream). My parents on the other hand like to finish their day off with a nice hot cup of coffee. The other night, we all decided to change it up a little bit, as I was in the mood for something hot, and they were in the mood for something sweet. We found the perfect solution – Republic of Tea Coconut Cocoa Tea!
The Republic of Tea has something for just about everyone. Their selection ranges from black, green, red, and white teas, to superfruit, chai, and children’s teas. The dessert tea is a terrific addition to the Republic of Tea line because it has revolutionized the notion of what tea is. The Coconut Cocoa Tea is the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth without having to crack open the freezer and dive into unhealthier options. The Republic of Tea refers to them as “healthful, decadent desserts in a teacup”, and I feel this could not be more accurate.
Here is an easy recipe provided by the Republic of Tea for a Chocolate Coconut Iced Latte:
Brew 2 tea bags in 6 oz. of filtered water for five minutes. Remove tea bags and allow tea to cool. Add 3 oz. of milk or milk substitute. Blend milk and tea. Serve in a tall glass over ice. Yields one serving.
