Vic and Angelos recently opened in the heart of downtown Delray Beach. This restaurant not only offers a incredible array of your favorite italian dishes, but also provides you with a trendy, comfortable atmosphere equipped with a full bar and outdoor seating.
Vic and Angelos only uses the freshest ingredients including fresh made pasta, dough and sauces.
Recently, I visited during lunch, and when you are seated they serve you fresh baked bread with the choices of butter, olive oil and fresh roasted garlic, to munch on as you read the menu.
Since I was dining with my Dad, we splurged and started with the Zucchini Fritte, which is served with a San Marzano tomato sauce and a garlic aioli. They were incredible! The portion size was big and the taste was outstanding.
Next we shared the Angelo’s salad which was a garden salad that has been kicked up a notch. The beans, eggs, and Red Wine Vinaigrette make the salad an excellent appetizer.
Finally, my Dad and I shared the Mulberry Street pizza, which could have fed 3-4 people. The coal-fired pizza is some of the best I’ve had in south Florida. The pizza comes with Eggplant . Mozzarella . Reggiano and Crushed Red Pepper. Between the fresh San Marzano sauce and the fresh eggplant and mozzarella, you can’t go wrong with this pizza.
Next time you’re in Delray beach, definitely check out Vic and Angelo’s, you won’t be disappointed. Also, since I work down the street at The Mark Downtown, swing by and pick me up, I’ll be glad to join you!
