Delish Diversions- Whole Foods Market Classes
While I was browsing the Whole Foods webpage on Monday to look for this weeks sale items, I came across the events calendar for this month. I saw that they were having a Vegetarian cooking class on Tuesday night from 7-8pm and it was FREE!
I was so excited for this event and convinced my dad to join me at the cooking class.
At this particular class the head chef, Abigail Nagorski, provided the “students” with a fun-filled, informational and delish experience. She demonstrated how to cook three great recipes, gave great cooking tips and exhibited important skills that could help out any chef in the kitchen. Throughout the class, Abigail was more than happy to answer any questions and was very knowledgable. I definitely learned a few things from her.
During this class, we learned out to make: Apple and Pear Quinoa Salad, Ginger Tenders over Edamame Mash, and Garbanzo Veggie Burgers.
At the end of the class, we all got a tasting plate filled with the three recipes that Abigail had created.
If you haven’t had a chance to partake in the events that Whole Foods hosts, I suggest you check your local store and start attending. Make sure you pre-register because these classes fill up fast!
*If you would like the recipes of the dishes that Abigail created, please send me a message and I will be more than happy to email you the recipes!
**The photo above is the plate each of us received at the end of class. It was DELISH!!
