Delish Detector!- Amy’s Orange Cake
Who ever said cake wasn’t a breakfast item? This morning I was rummaging through the freezer and I found the Amy’s Orange Cake box and I was thinking, “I could really go for something sweet this morning”.
The cake was great! It tasted like a sweet pound cake with just a hint of orange. I toasted a few pieces of the cake and spread just a bit of cream cheese on each piece.
If you don’t have time to bake, this is a great alternative to have on hand. Now, I wouldn’t exactly suggest eating it for breakfast (trying to stay healthy here), but it would be perfect to serve at brunches or even for dessert! Wait, it gets even better! The orange cake is vegan! So for those of you with lactose allergies (me), or following the vegan lifestyle, you’re in luck!
