“I like to rhyme, I like my beats funky, I’m spunky. I like my oatmeal lumpy”- Blueberry Oatmeal
I know, I know, I have made a lot of oatmeal recipes!  But, it’s been chilly down here in Florida (sorry for those up north, I know it’s freeeeeezing there), and I’ve been craving a hot breakfast lately.  Here’s another way you can delish your boring breakfast!
What you need:
Old-Fashioned Oatmeal/Steal Cut Oats (I used a mixture for more texture)
Frozen Blueberries
Maple Syrup
Raw Almonds
Bear Naked Fit Granola (Vanilla Almond Crunch Flavor)
Milk (Almond Milk/Skim/Soy)
Raisins
1. Cook oatmeal and steal cut oats according to package.  Add the frozen blueberries (or fresh) and raisins into the pot as the oatmeal cooks.
2. Meanwhile, in a microwave safe dish combine a handful of blueberries and about 2 tbsp of maple syrup.  Microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes or until the blueberries have formed a syrup.
3. Once oatmeal is done cooking, dish into a bowl and top with the blueberry syrup, granola, raw almonds, and a dash of milk.
*Raw almonds are an excellent source of protein and will definitely help fill you up in the morning.  Also, blueberries and raisins will absolutely help in the fiber department.
**The Bear Naked Fit Granola is awesome!  It gives my oatmeal the crunch I’m looking for, but doesn’t pack in the calories.  I also love using the Bear Naked granola on my yogurt, ice cream or just as a snack!  Definitely check it out!
